The University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Applied Positive Psychology program is the first of its kind, launched in 2006 by the founder of the discipline of positive psychology, Dr. Martin Seligman and a team of psychologists devoted to its study and practice. Graduates of the Penn MAPP program, affectionately known to one another as MAPPsters, now number more than 500, residing in countries spanning the globe. The mission of the MAPP Magazine is first to keep Penn MAPP alumni connected and second to share the wide range of our applications of positive psychology with a broader audience to inspire collaboration and growth in the field.
