Abi is a business writer, editor, and marketing consultant based in the Pacific Northwest. She works with companies and nonprofits of all sizes—from small-town startups to global enterprises—to clarify messaging, nurture customer relationships, and write their stories. In addition to her role with MAPP Magazine, she’s an Assistant Instructor with the University of Pennsylvania Master of Applied Positive Psychology program. An avid runner and certified Pilates instructor, she and her husband Paul recently opened an indoor pickleball gym in their small town.

Josey is a writer and editor passionate about sustainable well-being for mind, body, and planet. Along with her MAPP degree, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from Wellesley College. Her writing has appeared in mindbodygreen, Well+Good, Women’s Health Magazine, The Everygirl, and more. She aims to use storytelling to advance the conversation on how to help not just individuals flourish but the collective. When she’s not writing, she enjoys exploring the happiest places in the world with her partner, looking for mushrooms, and hanging out on the beach with her golden retriever.

Pax (also known in MAPP circles as “Paki”) graduated from the MAPP program in 2010 as part of its 5th class. She is an author, writing consultant, producer, public speaker, and singer-songwriter. Her award-winning book, Mindfulness Matters, was released in 2018, alongside her Mindfulness Matters short film, which she co-produced, co-wrote, and voiced. She has spent the last decade + passionately engaged in the study and practice of well-being, picking up a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology, a Certificate in Positive Psychology Coaching, 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, a Certificate of Training in Past Life Regression Therapy, a Certificate in Psychological Safety, and engaged in multiple ceremonies with Ayahuasca and 5-MEO-DMT. She also has extensive study and training in Mindfulness, having completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course through the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine and the Mindful Teacher Certification Program with Mindful Schools. At the moment, Pax is deeply invested in work on her next book, a teen edition of Mindfulness Matters
